Taken during a storm, these falls were at full throttle! 2.5 sec at f/22, ISO 50, 14mm. Nikon D500 and Nikkor 14-24 2.8.
Not a Still Life
This moss overhang was naturally lit by the filtered light, but looks like it was shot in a studio!
Snoquera Falls Trail
There was some truly spectacular light while climbing to Snoquera Falls. The droplets of mist were visible!
Snoquera Falls descend more than 400 feet from this cliff face. It's called the Yosemite of the Cascades!
Lower Snoquera Falls
Just as the lower portion of the falls came into view, we were greeting by this rainbow from the mist!
Sea Lion Rock
Emerging waterside on the Cannon Beach Trail in Ecola State Park, we were greeted by Sea Lion Rock.
The brightly lit pathway to the beach bekons at night! It was a superwindy day - you can see some sand on the lens accumulate during the course of the shot. Moonlit night.
